Cudjo Seafood

We live in the Mobile area and love exploring Bayou La Batre. This was our first time at Cudjo Seafood but definitely will not be the last! I think it was the best steamed shrimp, other than my husbands low country boil, that I’ve had. The potatoes were even amazing! And the sausage. Everything was spiced perfectly. If you’re in the area it is definitely worth stopping in for a fresh seafood lunch or dinner.

We found Cudjo Seafood while planning our road trip vacation. We had never visited Bayou La Batre, Alabama so we added that to our trip. You cannot visit the seafood capital of Alabama and not eat shrimp, that is how we found Cudjo. The shrimp here were amazing! We got 3 pounds of shrimp with potatoes and corn, and yes we ate everything!! The restaurant is clean and inviting. The staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable of the area.

Good quantity, good price. Shrimp were a little over cooked. All in all pretty good
